Thomas Edward Hagen, 61, of Waimea died Jan. 22 at home. Born in Seattle, he was a property manager in the hospitality industry and real estate developer. Celebration of life 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26 at Hagen residence in Waimea. Survived by wife, Caroline Conquest-Hagen of Waimea; son, Maximilian Hagen of Honolulu; daughter, Jacqueline Malia (Dennis) Rozetta of Waimea; brothers, Richard Hagen and Donald Hagen Sr. of Seattle; sister, Patricia Hagen of Seattle; seven nieces and nephews. Alfred Jardine Jr., 79, of Hilo died Jan. 18 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a building maintenance supervisor for the federal government and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo. Visitation 8:30-10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 28 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass at 10:30 a.m. Casual attire; flowers welcome. Burial at Homelani Memorial Park, lehua section. Ernest “Pops” Napua Kalehua Kai Sr., 79, of Hilo died Jan. 21 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hana, Maui, he was a retired Hawaii Army National Guardsman, a U.S. Marine Corps Korean War veteran and member of Big Island National Guard Retirees Association. Visitation 9-10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 31 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Burial at noon at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No.2. Casual attire. John McClelland, 55, of Volcano died Jan. 11 at The Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu. Born in Monmouth, Ill., he was an electrician at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Survived by wife, Amy McClelland of Volcano; father, Richard McClelland of Naperville, Ill.; sisters, Jan Whitesell of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Margo McClelland of Volcano and Julie McClelland of Downers Grove, Ill.; nieces and nephews.
